We at A.SHAK (Pty) Ltd are focused firmly on our core business:
• manufacturing and
• supplying building industry chemicals.

Being passionate and innovative, A.SHAK offers clients supreme service and superior quality of product. We continue to strive for excellence with a quality range of products that are both innovative and highly effective.

More of a partner than a supplier, A.SHAK aims to continually improve and grow to the benefit of our clients, the industry and ourselves.

Established in 1958, A.SHAK started off by selling shutter release oil to the construction industry. With time the company developed numerous new products and as a result, we entered the retail sector approximately 30 years ago, primarily supplying Plasterkey to the hardware industry.

Colin McCrorie Cindy Engels

In 1999 Colin McCrorie and Cindy Engels acquired the company, and immediately set about taking this highly successful brand to even greater heights.

A.SHAK believes in shared successes. The company seeks to grow hand in hand with the retail outlets, concrete industry, contractors, plasterers, tilers, suppliers and partners.

Superior service is top of our list.
This committment, along with quality-tested products and ongoing customer support, makes A.SHAK a preferred supplier.

As specialists in the construction industry the company enjoys a hands-on approach to management, thus giving it an intimate understanding of exactly what it is the client needs. Coupled with high-end technology research and product development, these factors make A.SHAK a leader in its specialist field.

George Weideman

Epoxerite (Pty) Ltd was established in 1978 as a specialist civil engineering contractor.

Primarily as a result of innovation, Epoxerite has developed a number of products that can be used for, amongst others, concrete repair, general civil and building applications.

Originally these products were manufactured exclusively for internal use, however, as a result of changes in the company structure, these products are now available in the market place.

During 2007 Epoxerite Products cc broke away from the holding company. Managing Member George Weideman have over the past three years grown the product range to compete effectively with major competitors in the market. This range now includes epoxy adhesives, specialist grouts, coatings for renderings and flooring.

George is passionate about expanding his business footprint and becoming a company that is recognised for supplying quality products at good value. He prides himself on being responsive to the needs of his customers and at the same time making his service offerings flexible.
